Using Oruku Postal Code for Online Shopping

Make sure the other fields also contain the correct information. Select Nigeria as the country and Enugu as the state where those options are available.
Postal Code for Letters and Parcels
The postal code can help classify the destination area, but it does not replace the recipient’s physical address. A parcel should have enough information for the delivery company to identify the intended person and location.
Include a reachable telephone number when arranging a courier delivery, especially where the recipient’s house may be difficult to locate.

Postal code is the common term used in Nigeria. ZIP Code is the term used in the United States. International websites sometimes use ZIP code as a general label for the postal-code field.
For an ordinary Nigerian address in Oruku, use the listed six-digit code, 402116, when the form requests a postal or ZIP code.
Does 402116 Identify a Particular House?
No. The six-digit code is associated with the postal district, not an individual house. Several settlements share the code, and many households within those settlements may use it.
That is why the full address must include the recipient’s settlement and more specific location information.
Common Mistakes When Using Oruku Postal Code
- Entering the wrong six-digit number.
