Providus Bank USSD Codes for Transfers, Airtime, and More
You may be looking for the Providus Bank USSD code to send money, buy airtime or pay a bill. Providus Bank has said publicly that it does not currently offer a USSD code service. Here is how to do each job without one.
Transfers
Use the ProvidusPlus app or internet banking. To receive from another bank, pick Providus Bank (code 101) in that bank’s list.
Airtime
Buy it inside the ProvidusPlus app, or pay from a card where your network allows it.
Bills
Pay in the app, where you can review the biller and amount before you confirm.
Security
Block a card or reset a PIN from the app, or through Providus’s official channels.
No data?
Use another bank’s USSD to send to your Providus account number, or visit a branch.
The code you may have seen
A code such as *5037# appears on some pages. The bank does not confirm it, so do not enter your PIN or account details in any session it opens. If you already dialled it, check your account and contact Providus.
4 checks before you send money
◆ The account name matches the person you mean to pay.
◆ The bank is Providus Bank (code 101) if you are sending in.
◆ You have kept the reference or alert.
◆ You have not shared your PIN or OTP with anyone.
Do the job in the app, and treat codes from messages as unverified.
