What Is the Diamond Bank USSD Code? *901# Guide for 2026

Diamond Bank → Access Bank

Diamond Bank USSD code: then and now

If you banked with Diamond, you probably remember dialing *710#. Diamond Bank no longer operates on its own. Access Bank took on all of its customers in the merger, which means the code you use today is Access Bank’s.

Then

Diamond used the *710# family of codes. Older guides list transfers like *710*777*Account Number*Amount*PIN# for Y’ello account holders, and airtime codes such as *302*Amount#.

Now

Dial *901#, Access Bank’s USSD code, from the phone number registered to your account.

Those old Diamond codes come from archived lists. Do not rely on them for new transactions. Start with *901# and follow the menu.

What did the merger change for you?

Access Bank’s merger FAQ said account numbers and relationship managers would not change, and that customers could keep using their money and services through their usual channels. It did not address *710# or old Diamond cards, so ask Access Bank directly if you still hold either.

Limits and charges

One guide reports a default USSD transfer limit of N100,000 a day, which you can raise at a branch with ID and your debit card. It also notes a telco charge of about N6.98 on USSD financial transactions, with airtime and data purchases excluded. Confirm current numbers with Access Bank before a large transfer.

If *901# will not open

◆ Use the SIM linked to your account.

◆ Check that you typed the star and hash exactly.

◆ Try again with a stronger signal.

◆ Visit a branch or contact Access Bank through its official channels if the profile will not activate.

Delete old *710# shortcuts from your phone, save *901# in their place, and dial it from your registered number.
