Abeokuta postal code
Abeokuta is the capital of Ogun State. The general postal-code reference for the city is 110001, while Abeokuta South has a separate listed code of 110101. Specific districts and streets may have additional delivery codes, so the exact location should be checked.
Sango Ota postal code
Sango Ota is an important urban and commercial area in Ogun State. The central facility code commonly listed for the area is 112001. Its street and district codes cover a wider range, so the central facility code should not be treated as the correct code for every address in the town.
Ijebu-Ode and Sagamu
Ijebu-Ode is listed with 120101, while Sagamu is associated with 121101. These towns have their own delivery districts and should be treated separately when preparing addresses.
Other Ogun State communities
Ikenne, Imeko, Oba and Odogbolu are examples of other locations with distinct postal-code references. The code for a town should not automatically be assigned to every nearby settlement, particularly where several communities share an LGA.
How to use Ogun postal codes
- Identify the recipient’s exact town or district.
- Use the matching six-digit postal code.
- Include the street, estate or community name.
- Write Ogun State as the destination state.
Why one LGA can have multiple codes
Postal delivery areas do not always follow local government boundaries. A single LGA may contain several towns and delivery districts, each with a different code. This is why a range or multiple entries may appear for one local government area.
Traditional postal codes and digital postcodes
The traditional codes shown here contain six digits. Digital postcodes are a separate location-identification format. Use the format specifically requested by the delivery provider or online form.
Confirming the right code
If you are sending a parcel to a street or community not listed here, confirm its delivery code before dispatch. A complete address should include the recipient’s name, street, town, LGA and postal code.
