What FUP means
An unlimited plan is not unlimited speed forever. After the fair-usage allowance, speed can drop. A reported figure for a 5G router is about 5Mbps after the cap. Read the plan description before you commit.

A quick budget example
Say you need about 100GB a month. The 120GB plan at ₦24,000 costs ₦200 a GB. Buying two 60GB plans for the same total data would cost ₦29,000. Choosing the plan that matches your real use, not the smallest price, usually saves money.
Can a router plan work on a phone?
Reports say broadband and unlimited router plans are not available on ordinary phones. They are meant for MiFi and router SIMs. Use your phone’s normal data plans on a phone.
Before you subscribe
- Check that your router or MiFi SIM is registered.
- Confirm the validity, which is 30 days for monthly plans.
- Look at whether a bonus applies, and for how long.
- Note when the plan expires so you can renew in time.
