How to Use the MyMTN App in Rwanda Step by Step
The MyMTN app lets you check balance, buy bundles, and manage your line without queues. Download it only from your official app store.

Get started
- Open your app store and search MyMTN.
- Install and open the app.
- Sign in with your MTN number.
- Enter the code sent by SMS.
- Set a PIN or lock if the app offers one.
Buy a bundle in the app
Go to the buy section, choose data, pick a bundle and select how to pay. Read the validity before you confirm.

| Wrong balance shown | Pull to refresh or check by USSD |
Never share your SMS code or MoMo PIN. MTN staff will not ask for them.
Keep it safe
Use a screen lock, update the app often and log out on shared phones.
