MTN Nightlife Bundle: Eligibility and 5 Rules You Must Know
Price, times, limits and the Pulse catch, from MTN’s own help page.
The 5 rules, in 10 seconds
That is the whole Pulse Nightlife bundle. The details below decide whether it fits you.
What it costs
| Bundles bought | Data | Price | Per GB |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 500MB | ₦75 | ₦150 |
| 2 | 1GB | ₦150 | ₦150 |
| 3 | 1.5GB | ₦225 | ₦150 |
| 4 | 2GB | ₦300 | ₦150 |
At ₦150 a GB, the night bundle is far cheaper than most day plans on MTN’s list, but only if you really use it between 11pm and 6am.
How to buy it
Who is eligible?
Any MTN customer can buy it. If you are not on the Pulse plan, MTN shows a consent menu first, and your line is moved to Pulse after the purchase. You are not charged for that move. Your line stays on Pulse until you migrate out.
What if you run out?
Once you have used up to 2GB in a night, MTN will not let you activate another Nightlife bundle until after 6am. If you have not used 2GB yet, you can top up inside the window.
Check your balance
Dial *310# or *406*3*3#. Night data is shown separately from your daytime bundles.
There is a MTN X version too
MTN’s MTN X page lists its own Night Bundle: 500MB for ₦75, usable from 11pm to 6am. It belongs to the MTN X plan, which charges a ₦10 daily access fee for calls.
Common mistakes
- Browsing at 10:45pm and wondering why daytime data went down.
- Buying late, close to 6am, and losing most of the night’s data.
- Forgetting that nothing renews, so the bundle is gone the next night.
- Buying a fifth bundle after reaching 2GB.
Can I use night data for calls?
No. It is data only.
Does it roll over?
No. Everything unused is cleared after 6am.
Can I buy it every night?
Yes. You must buy it each night.
